A respected driver of innovation with a track record of accelerating corporate growth, Valerio Nannini is currently focused at the nexus of biotechnology, sustainable agriculture, consumer health, and partnership-based innovation.
Most recently the general manager of Novonesis’ Advanced Proteins unit, Nannini led a team committed to the discovery and development of new protein solutions that are better for people and planet while also meeting consumers’ taste and texture expectations.
The founder of Nannini and Partners Ltd., an independent innovation advisory consultancy connecting startups, venture capitalists, and corporate clients, Nannini also previously led Nestle’s global innovation group as senior vice president and head of strategies and performance.
With international business expertise that extends across Europe, Asia, Africa, the U.S., and Latin America, Nannini has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wales and is the recipient of the Certificate in Lifelong Executive Learning from IMD Business School in Lausanne. He holds British, Swiss, and Italian citizenship.
