Tony Dunnage has been in the consumer goods sector since 1987, holding various senior management roles at Unilever, primarily within the supply chain discipline. In the early 2000s, he shifted his focus to sustainability. Since joining Imperial Brands in July 2021, Dunnage has overseen Imperial Brands’ global ESG strategy. His focus includes decarbonizing the value chain to achieve net zero by 2040 as well as managing the company’s health and safety agenda, among other responsibilities.
When asked about his role, Dunnage says, “I consider myself incredibly privileged to lead the People and Planet agenda at Imperial Brands. The wisdom of Confucius often resonates with me: ‘Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.’ Many days, I feel exactly that.”
