Omar Rahmanadi is the CEO of BMJ. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001 and continued to pursue his master’s degree in financial engineering at Columbia University in 2003. Based in Indonesia, he is responsible for leading a 1,300-strong team and managing one of Asia’s most prominent producers of specialty papers and packaging in the cigarette industry that provides a total solution for cigarette companies to fulfill their needs of non-tobacco materials. Before joining BMJ, he gained experience in various industries, including banking, mining, and agribusiness.
