Nathalie Darge, a Belgian native based in Brussels, is an experienced public affairs professional currently running Tobacco Europe, the European umbrella organization representing the tobacco and nicotine products manufacturers, as the secretary general. Prior to joining Tobacco Europe, she spent nearly 10 years at the European Steel Association, EUROFER, working as a communications and public affairs adviser. She holds a political affairs degree from the University Libre de Bruxelles.
In her current role, Darge coordinates EU-level advocacy,working closely with Tobacco Europe member companies, namely BAT, Imperial Brands, and Japan Tobacco International, together with other relevant stakeholders representing the whole supply chain. Darge’s responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relations with both EU institutions and media, supporting the Tobacco Europe working groups and disseminating information on regulatory developments related directly or indirectly to the industry.
In addition to her professional commitments, Darge is also a dedicated parent and involved in local social projects.
