Jose Luis Murillo currently serves as chief regulatory advisor to the CEO at Juul Labs, where he has worked since 2019. He has more than 30 years of experience working on regulatory and government policy, product innovation, and harm reduction. Over the course of his career, Murillo has developed extensive knowledge of bringing combustible cigarette alternatives to market, while balancing innovation with appropriate regulation. Prior to joining Juul Labs, he served as senior vice president of regulatory affairs for the Altria family of companies. Murillo graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Miami and holds a Juris Doctor (doctor of law) degree from Columbia Law School.
