Amrou Awaysheh

Amrou Awaysheh is the One America Foundation endowed chair and a professor of operations and supply chain management and sustainability at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Awaysheh is the executive and academic director of the Indiana University Business Sustainability and Innovation Lab. He has raised over $64 million to study and enhance sustainability practices in manufacturing facilities. Working with corporate partners, this money is used to enhance regenerative manufacturing and build more sustainable supply chains.

Awaysheh’s work has appeared in top academic journals as well as the popular press, including Forbes, the Economist, the Financial Times, and the World Economic Forum. He has also appeared on TV on CNBC, PBS, ABC, NBC, NPR, Fox, and CBS.

Awaysheh has won over 25 awards for teaching and research. In 2011, he was selected as Professor of the Week by the Financial Times and named as one of the “40 Most Outstanding Business School Professors under 40.” He was also a finalist for the Economist magazine’s Professor of the Year in 2012.
