Keen Starke is senior vice president and a member of the corporate sales group at Universal Leaf Tobacco Co. Inc., a position he has held since January 2017. He is currently responsible for coordinating the company’s global commercial efforts with one of its principal customers. During his 23 years with the company, Starke has traveled extensively among the tobacco-producing markets of the world, developing a comprehensive knowledge of the global leaf supply landscape. In addition to serving in sales functions within the United States during his tenure, he has completed two multi-year assignments in Asia where he held management positions within the company’s leaf export operation in China and in its regional headquarters in Singapore. Starke is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, USA, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics.
